Curly or straight-which do men prefer?

im mixed race and i have very thick dark brown curly hair. its not afro but more like leona lewis curls, maybe a bit looser. does it matter to guys wether your hair is curly or straight because iv tried straightening my hair and it doesnt look quite right because my hair is so thick
